We've been in school for 2 weeks now. Students have been learning about tiger traits and practicing those traits. Today was our first tiger ticket drawing and these friends were our lucky winners. They will be coming home with a fun game, "P for pizza." Keep showing those traits, Tigers!!!

We are so blessed to have Mr. Zoglmann, a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist at Oak Street this year. Today he spoke to 4th graders about the parts of the reading brain (how the brain learns to read) and the skills they need to be successful readers.

Week One! What a Roaring Success!
Donuts have a magical way of making any day roughly 200% better. There is truly no bad time for fried dough covered in sugar. We are so lucky to have Mr. Bs Daylight Donuts in town and they are always ready to make our days better!! They surprised us on Monday and we appreciate them more than they will ever know!!!!!
We just had to snap a picture of our amazing full time substitute Mrs. Dwornicki and her husband Officer Dwornicki in the hallway on Monday. This was a fun first day of school picture for them to send to their adult children! Staff and students love and appreciate both these giving individuals. Wishing them both the best year and so happy to have them in Goddard!!
