Thanks to you our annual food drive was a success. There were 974 items donated. We are only 26 items away from our school goal of 1,000 items so we will take donations through tomorrow. The top classrooms who earned a read aloud, cookies and milk are Mrs. Hagel with 167 items and Mrs. Douglass' class with 150 items. Way to go Oak Street Tigers!!!

These kiddos were selected as October Student's of the Month. They showed great responsibility by taking action and understanding the impact of their choices. Way to show those Tiger Traits!! Congratulations!!
--Today Mrs. Davis, a Marine Veteran, came to Mrs. Hickey's class! She read a story about Veterans and answered some kindergarten questions about how she served our country.

Mrs. Douglass’ class worked together to fill 80 water drops by completing 80 IXL lessons. They celebrated with a water bar!

Mitten Tree families receive food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas Break. We need your help to make a difference in our community. The top two classes will recieve a Story Time Party including Milk and Cookies.

We are having the best day so far at Oak Street, and enjoy all the Halloween fun! We even kicked things off with a Tiger Ticket drawing as well as an extra bonus winner for a total of 7 students.
