By linking your Dillons Plus Shopper's Card to the PTO, a portion of your purchases will be donated back to our school at no extra cost to you. These funds go directly to the PTO to help us provide amazing events, support our teachers, and purchase needed resources for our students. JUST A REMINDER!!! Our wonderful PTO has rented out the Goddard Pool for our annual back to school pool party and the weather looks great for Sunday evening!!! Just a reminder, students must be accompanied by an adult. AND, new this year...Kona Ice will be selling in the parking lot. Hope to see you there!!

Kindergarten families: Please join us at the playground on Sunday, August 3 at 5:45 (before the back to school pool party) and meet up with other students and their families. Ask questions, meet new friends and then stick around to swim!!

This year, the Goddard Education Foundation, alongside our Legacy Partners, Lange Real Estate, were thrilled to present the #265Family Award to 15 outstanding educators and staff members from across the district, from nominations submitted by grateful families, dedicated students, and fellow staff members, all eager to shine a light on the incredible work being done every day in Goddard Public Schools. The #265Family Award, honors these finalists who not only embody the spirit of our #265Family but also consistently demonstrate a significant, positive impact on our students, staff, or the entire USD 265 school community.
The Oak Street Elementary School winner was Kirsten Hickey, a Kindergarten Teacher, who was nominated by Caitlin Enterkin, a parent. Her nominator wrote, "As a first year teacher, Kirsten has made my son feel like he is a part of a family in his classroom. He was very nervous leaving his preschool that he loved to start school in Goddard, but we have seen amazing progress in him. He is excited to go to school and his academic progress has been very obvious. As a parent who has raised him at home since he was born, it is hard for me to trust other people with his well-being, but we absolutely love Mrs. Hickey! She was meant to be a teacher!"
Congratulations again Mrs. Hickey for all you do make Goddard Public Schools a family!
